Nine researchers from Al al-Bayt University are among the top 2% of the world's most influential scientists for 2025.
Stanford University, in collaboration with the global publishing house Elsevier, has included nine faculty members from Al al-Bayt University in the list of the world's top 2% most influential scientists for 2025, based on the global database of citation indicators, which is one of the most prominent academic rankings that measures the impact of researchers at the international level.

This ranking is considered one of the most important global research indicators, as it relies on analyzing huge databases of scientific citations using the Scopus database, and focuses on the number of citations, the (H-index) coefficient, and the (Hm-index) coefficient, in addition to the researcher's impact in his main and sub-field. Only the top 2% of the most influential scientists worldwide in various disciplines are included in the list.
The President of the University, Professor Dr. Osama Nusair, congratulated the researchers on this prestigious global achievement, stressing that including their names in this ranking reflects the scientific position that the university occupies, and demonstrates the competence of faculty members and their ability to contribute to human knowledge and scientific research regionally and globally.
For his part, the Dean of Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Akef Al-Fuqara, expressed his pride in this achievement, noting that the university continues to support researchers by creating a stimulating academic environment and encouraging cooperation with international universities and research centers, in a way that enhances the university's position in global rankings.
This achievement confirms that it is added to the record of Al al-Bayt University, which is full of successes, and enhances its leading role in the production of knowledge and support for the advancement of scientific research and innovation in Jordan and the world.
