? The Risks of Using Financial Technology on the Jordanian Islamic Banking Sector
ABSTRACT
The current study aimed at identifying the impact of the risks of using financial technology on the Jordanian Islamic banking sector. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach by referring to previous studies and scientific journals. A questionnaire has been developed to suit this study in which it's community consisted of (4094) administrative employees working in Islamic banks, and the sample consisted of bank employees in the Northern Region, where (218) questionnaires were distributed and (206) questionnaires were retrieved, and after reviewing the questionnaires, it was found that there are (6) questionnaires that are not valid for statistical analysis. The most prominent results of the study were: There is a statistically significant effect of the risks of using financial technology of all kinds (lack of knowledge, operating systems, information security) at the level of (??0. 05) on the Jordanian Islamic banking sector, and the results also showed a good level of the degree of application of financial technology in Jordanian Islamic banks. Among the most prominent recommendations were: The need to develop banking supervisory and regulatory rules to keep pace with the development in modern financial and technological business models through the use of regulatory technology and the balance between strengthening competition and financial innovations and achieving stability in the banking sector.
