The effect of strategic leadership on intellectual capital: The mediating role of the knowledge sharing in Kuwait industrial companies
The study aimed to figure out the effect of the strategic leadership on the intellectual capital, in addition to the mediating role of the knowledge-sharing mediating variable in the Kuwaiti industry companies. To achieve the objectives of the study, the study adopted the descriptive, analytical approach by preparing a questionnaire. After verifying its validity and reliability, the researcher distributed it to a sample of (284) male and female employees in the Kuwaiti industrial companies. After conducting the statistical analysis through the (SPSS) and (Amos V23), the study concluded a statistically significant effect at sig. (??0.05) for the strategic leadership on the intellectual capital in the Kuwaiti industrial companies and a statistically significant effect at sig. (??0.05) for the strategic leadership of the intellectual capital through knowledge sharing as a mediating variable in the industrial companies in the State of Kuwait.The study?s population consisted from all the administrators& employees who work in the Kuwaiti industrial companies falling under the chemicals and industries sector, which numbered (35) companies. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was followed by developing a questionnaire, and after verifying its validity and reliability, it was distributed to a simple random sample of administrators& employees in Kuwaiti industrial companies. The number of valid questionnaires for analysis was (284), and the researcher used the Statistical Analysis Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) and the (Amos V23) program. After analyzing the data, the most important results showed the following: There is a statistically significant impact of strategic leadership on intellectual capital in Kuwaiti industrial companies, & there is a statistically significant effect of strategic leadership on intellectual capital through knowledge sharing as an intermediate variable in industrial companies in the State of Kuwait. The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is to urge workers in Kuwaiti industrial companies to learn new knowledge of work through holding training courses that enable them to develop their knowledge and skills, and the need for the management of Kuwaiti industrial companies to take the ideas and recommendations of the work teams and reward them for their achievement, In order to increase the level of exchange and sharing of knowledge among workers.
