The Electronic Readiness of Jordanian Commercial Banks and its Impact on the Application of Financial Technology
Abstract The study aimed to identify the impact of electronic readiness with its dimensions (organization readiness, readiness to use) on the application of financial technology in Jordanian commercial banks. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical method by referring to previous studies and scientific magazines. The researcher developed the instrument of the study, the questionnaire, to suit the focus of the study. The population of the study was the administrative workers in the Jordanian commercial banks in the central region, where their number reached (15,644). The sample of the study was (420) administrative workers, and the questionnaire was distributed to the sample members, and the number of repeats was (407), and the number of valid questionnaires for analysis was (407). Among the most prominent results of the study were: The presence of an impact of electronic readiness with its dimensions (organizational readiness, readiness to use) on the application of financial technology in Jordanian commercial banks, and through the simple linear regression test it was found that there is an impact of organization readiness on the application of financial technology in Jordanian commercial banks, and the presence of the impact of readiness to use on the application of financial technology in Jordanian commercial banks. Among the most prominent recommendations were: Having trained and technically qualified human resources available to support the applications of financial technology and electronic services in Jordanian commercial banks, as well as working to update the administrative systems and related instructions in a manner that suits and harmonizes with the application of financial technology in Jordanian commercial banks.
