Summer Camp for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers
Good day! Al Al-Bayt University is pleased to inform you that the “Summer Camp for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers" program is now open, and admissions have started. We kindly ask you to spread the news to your students and share the following information with your related staff and the departments.
Dates:
After the frustrating pandemic break, the program will be finally taking place face to face in Jordan between the 15th of July and the 15th of August, 2022.
Social Activity Program:
The summer camp comes with a rich social activities program that enables students to discover nearly the attractions of the country while they continue their studies.

Welcome to Mafraq
Mafraq
The city of Mafraq it is considered the center of the governorate,
with an area of 26,663 square meters. The city have a diverse archaeological
sites that extend from the ancient stone ages to the end of the Ottoman era.
During the previous ages, Mafraq was called Al-Feddan, which is a diminutive of
the fortress, meaning the fortified castle. The city has also witnessed, during
the past few years, a clear activity in the industrial and agricultural fields.
The northern Badia region became the main source of agricultural and animal
production, as the Badia turned into green fields as a result of the spread of
artesian wells in that region.
AABU
Al al-Bayt University is located on the outskirts of the city of
Mafraq, 65 kilometers to the northeast (about 45 minutes by car) from the
capital, Amman - Jordan. The university is integrating academic facilities,
student housing, and social services in one location, extending over an area of
7539 dunums (dunam = 1000 square meters).
AABU is a non-profit and state-recognized Foundation university
offering bachelors, Masters and doctorate programs. AABU offers a wide range of
academic programs in order to meet the demands of the labor market in the
global economy.
