The Vice President of Al al-Bayt University for Academic Affairs, Prof. Mohammad Al-Harahsheh, sponsored a celebration organized by the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program under the title "Picture of Life... Check it" on the occasion of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month for 2022, which was held in cooperation with the Faculty of Science in attendance of the Dean, Prof. Ahmed Al-Jamal.

Dr. Al-Harahsheh said: “The participation of Al al-Bayt University in organizing and sponsoring this event stems from the permanent cooperation and communication of the university represented by the Faculty of Science with the Jordanian Cancer Program and the university's belief in the need to contribute to raising the awareness of partners from the local community to raise the level of health awareness of a disease that still snatches women's lives in our area, while they are at their prime".

Al-Dabbas, said that this year's "Check it" campaign is different and distinct because it carries a message for all women of the need to conduct breast cancer screening and early detection to raise the rate of cure, as the campaign includes several events and lectures in schools, universities and various civil society organizations.

Cancer survivor Nahil Haddad spoke about her journey in confronting the disease and recovering from it. The ceremony also included the participation of the Orthodox Scouts / Mafraq (the Dormition of the Virgin Mary), a sports event by coach Mohammad Azazmeh, and a question-and-answer activity by health educator Fayza Shawaqfeh and Hanadi Shdeifat.

At the end of the ceremony, which was supervised by Ms. Magda Daghim from the Faculty of Science, Prof. Al-Harahsheh and Deputy Director of the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program, Ms. Bana Al-Dabbas, distributed honorary shields to the participating and supporting parties for the celebration.
