The Jordanian Breast Cancer Program of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation signed a cooperation agreement with Al al-Bayt University. The agreement was signed by Prof. Al-Dmour, President of the University, and Dr. Reem Al-Ajlouni, the Program manager, who confirmed the importance of partnership with all sectors especially the sector of education. She indicated that this agreement comes to activate the role of these educational institutions in contributing to the fight against breast cancer and to focus on raising awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer.

Dr. Al-Dmour pointed out that this agreement comes in two axes: training and scientific research for the purpose of providing basic cadres to help the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program carry out development activities targeting students and local communities in Mafraq Governorate and nearby governorates, motivate faculty and administrative staff and students to carry out youth initiatives, to serve the community in various health fields, and conduct joint scientific studies between the two parties.

The signing of the agreement was attended by Prof. Ahmed Al-Jamal, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, and Ms. Bana Al-Dabbas, Deputy Director of the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program.

It is noteworthy that the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program is a national program that works under the leadership and support of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and is concerned with improving services provided to women in the field of breast health and early detection of breast cancer.​
