The Vice President, Prof. Omar Al-Ateen, inaugurated the book fair, which was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs - Department of Cultural, Social and Artistic Activity and in cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality under the title (Our Book is Our Civilization). The fair included more than 4,000 books on various topics such as literature, economics, science, law, religion and arts distributed free of charge to students and those interested.

The sponsor of the ceremony, Dr. Al-Ateen distributed certificates to the participants from the Greater Amman Municipality and handed over the university shield to Mr. Thamer Al-Shobaki, Director of the Public Libraries Department in the Greater Amman Municipality, in attendance of the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Sayel Al-Sarhan. The fair was organized by the Director of the Department of Cultural and Social Activities, Mr. Mohammad Al-Husban and Head of the Student Activities Division, Mrs. Wafaa Al-Mawli. On the sidelines of the fair, the Amman Municipality band presented patriotic songs and dances that won the audience's admiration.​​
