President of the University, Prof. Hani Al-Dmour met with Alexey Bukin, Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between Al al-Bayt and Russian universities.

Al-Dmour indicated that it is great pleasure for Al al-Bayt University to open up to friendly societies and countries pointing out that the University is one of the national success stories in Mafraq city, which seeks to be competitive locally, regionally, and globally. He added that the student is the main axis in the educational process which makes Al al-Bayt University focuses on the quality of its alumni, and cares about the harmony of the student body that includes international students from more than 35 Arab and foreign countries. Al-Dmour expressed his gratitude to the role as well as the real active participation and qualitative addition made by Russian universities through networking with Jordanian universities pointing to the desire to learn about the Russian experience and have joint cultural cooperation between the two parties through concluding a memorandum of understanding in the future. Al-Dmour invited Bukin to participate and attend the Culture and Tourism Festival, which the University will hold next month.

Bukin, in turn, praised the University's high level and its distinguished reputation locally and internationally, and expressed the desire to enhance cooperation between Al al-Bayt University and Russian universities. He also expressed his country's readiness to cooperate with Al al-Bayt University in exchanging scientific and research experiences, as well as building and strengthening bridges of cooperation in all fields.

At the end of the meeting, which was attended by the Vice-Presidents, Prof. Mohammad Al-Harahsheh, Prof. Bassam Al-Mahasneh, and President assistants, Prof. Moayyad Al-Shawaqfeh and Dr. Mohammad Al-Hadab, Prof. Khaled Al-Shara, Prof. Mohammad Al-Rahahleh, Prof. Jamal Al-Sharari, and the Director of Public Relations and Media, Dr. Reem Al-Zoubi, Bukin and Dr. Al-Hadab took a tour on campus included the laboratories of the Water and Environment Research Center, the School of Business, the Center of Excellence for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Hashemite Library.​​
