A lecture on the virtues of the month of Ramadan at Al al-Bayt University

The Department of Cultural and Social Activity in the Deanship of Student Affairs held a religious lecture entitled “The Virtues of the Blessed Month of Ramadan" presented by Prof. Sherif Al-Khatib from the Faculty of Sharia.

Al-Khatib addressed the virtues of Ramadan upon the Muslim explaining that fasting is a means of piety, especially for the body parts to refrain from committing sins. He added that fasting is a great chore of faith and a means of purification and chastity of the Muslim indicating that Ramadan is the month of forgiveness and liberation from fire, so God answers prayers of his fasting servants.

At the end of the lecture, which was attended by the Vice Dean, Dr. Ghaith Al-Aitan, and the Director of the Department of Cultural and Social Activities, Mohammad Al-Husban, and a large number of university students, Dr. Al-Khatib answered the attendee's questions and inquiries.​​
