Based on the mission of developing effective strategic partnerships with local and international bodies to exchange experiences and knowledge, the Faculty of Sharia at Al al-Bayt University, in cooperation with Islam H₂O team and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), organized an awareness activity within the Water Use Efficiency Project. The activity was carried out in the presence of the Faculty Dean, Prof. Ahmed Al-Qaralla, the Vice Dean, Prof. Mohammad Al-Omari, the Head of the Department of Fundamentals of Religion, Prof. Mohammad Al-Khatib, and the Head of the Jurisprudence Department, Dr. Orwa Al-Dwairi.

The Dean, Dr. Al-Qaralla, highlighted that these activities aim to raise awareness of water consumption rationalization from a religious perspective confirming that Islamic teachings clearly encourage water conservation.

The Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and the activity coordinator, Dr. Abeer Tleilan, pointed out the importance of conserving water between Islamic rulings and behavioral patterns.

The activity included some student acts by Islam H₂O team to encourage water consumption rationalization as water is one of the blessings of God Almighty.​
