The Faculty of Science, in cooperation with the Directorate of Civil Defense, organized an awareness lecture about "First Aid and Public Safety" within the extracurricular activities carried out by the Faculty.

The Faculty Dean, Prof. Ahmed Al-Jamal, stated that this lecture aimed to educate laboratory supervisors and students about public safety measures to be considered while working in the laboratories, that contain dangerous chemicals. He emphasized that such lectures which are carried out with specialists in first aid, such as Civil Defense, are of great importance in taking precaution and caution in dealing with any emergency in the laboratories and avoiding any damage that may occur.

The lecture was delivered by First Lieutenant Dhaif Allah Al-Masaeed of the Training Department of the Civil Defense Directorate / AL-Mafraq, and it was attended by faculty members, laboratory supervisors and students.​
