On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, former Minister of Youth, His Excellency Muhammad Salameh Al-Nabulsi, sponsored the closing ceremony of the Sabila Al-Hassan Youth Program for 2026. The ceremony was attended by the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Lutfi Al-Masaeed, the Al-Hassan Youth Award liaison officer at the university, Captain Abdullah Al-Habab, a number of deans of student affairs and award liaison officers from Jordanian universities, as well as the male and female participants in the program.

Out of the university's belief in the role of youth in serving society and developing the spirit of citizenship, a number of university students participated in the Sabila Al-Hassan Youth Program during the period from September 9 to 21, 2026. This program is considered one of the most prominent national programs aimed at promoting the values of volunteer work, belonging, and social responsibility.

On the closing day of the program, His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal met with the male and female participants in the Sabila Al-Hassan Youth Program for 2026 during their visit to Madaba, at a meeting held in the Greater Madaba Municipality, attended by a number of officials and those in charge of the program.

His Highness emphasized that the Sabila's field experience in the villages and badia of the Kingdom is not just a journey, but a school for building a leadership personality capable of understanding the needs of local communities, providing solutions for them, and keeping pace with science, technology, and innovation.

His Highness dedicated a major part of the meeting to listening to the experiences of the participating students and discussed with them their impressions and the challenges they faced during the implementation of the program.

During the ceremony, the Director of the Al-Hassan Youth Award, Dr. Khawla Al-Hassan, spoke about the Sabila program, which extended across the country from the north to the south of the Kingdom. She affirmed that this experience combined knowledge and practice, exploration and challenge, and work and giving, by providing a real space for participants to discover themselves, test their abilities, learn from reality, and engage in diverse field experiences.

The outstanding student from Al al-Bayt University, Nawaf Firas Al-Jallad, achieved a distinguished accomplishment by winning the competition for developing entrepreneurial projects and ideas aimed at students participating in the "Sabila Al-Hassan Youth" program, which witnessed wide competition among various participating Jordanian universities.

This victory was a culmination of excellence and innovation in providing entrepreneurial solutions and projects that serve the local community and translate the lofty royal vision in empowering Jordanian youth and honing their leadership skills.

This excellence and creativity of Al al-Bayt University students comes in light of the continuous support from the University President, Professor Dr. Osama Nusair, for students and extracurricular activities, especially students of the Al-Hassan Youth Award and scouts.

The Sabila Al-Hassan Youth Program for 2026 included a wide range of activities and field experiences, most notably:

1. Implementing volunteer work and projects in a number of the Kingdom's governorates.

2. Climbing Mount Umm al-Dami, the highest mountain peak in the Kingdom.

3. Visiting the Community Peace Center.

4. Visiting the Royal Naval Force and Royal Boats Command.

5. Visiting the city of Petra.

6. Visiting the Military Region Command / Al-Baqoura.

7. Visiting the Umm Qais region.

8. Visiting a number of national factories and institutions.

9. Visiting the city of Madaba, including Mount Nebo, Al-Maghtas, and a number of churches.

10. Visiting the city of Salt and its shrines and ancient churches.

11. Visiting the Karamah area and its shrines.

12. Visiting a number of archaeological museums.

13. Attending awareness lectures on the scourge of drugs and ways to prevent them.
