Al al-Bayt University Faculty of Engineering's Department of Architecture graduates, Engineers Yaqeen Al-Shami and Rawan Shuqair, have been shortlisted in the ISustain 2026 competition for their graduation project titled: "Rehabilitation Center for War Survivors / Gaza."

This qualification came under the supervision of Dr. Anwar Bani Salman, following competition among a large number of participating projects from Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, and Syria.

The project distinguished itself by offering an architectural vision that responds to community needs through a conscious and sustainable design. It focuses on providing a suitable environment for the rehabilitation and support of war survivors, reflecting the application of academic knowledge and design skills to address real humanitarian and societal issues.

This achievement affirms the distinguished level of students and graduates of the Department of Architecture at Al al-Bayt University and the guidance and academic supervision provided by faculty members, which contributes to developing their capabilities and enhancing their presence in architectural competitions and events at both local and regional levels.
