Conclusion of the Arabic Language Course for Non-Native Speakers within the "I Am Arab" Program for the Second Semester 2025-2026
This week, the activities of the Arabic language course for non-native speakers, as part of the "I Am Arab" program for the second semester of 2025-2026, concluded at the Language Center.
The Director of the Language Center, Dr. Lamia Ammoush, in the presence of the two instructors, Dr. Amal Mohammad Al-Harahsheh and Ms. Fatima Raslan Ayoub, handed over certificates to the students after they completed the three-month course. A small honoring ceremony was also arranged for the last batch of "I Am Arab" program students for this academic year. The ceremony included a luncheon with them and the presentation of symbolic commemorative gifts. The students participated with a speech delivered by the outstanding student (Zainab Bint Hassan) from Malaysia, who will return to her country as an Arabic language teacher at a university there. She thanked the facilities provided by the Language Center and the efforts of the instructors. It is worth noting that one of the students (Hamdan Bin Rahmat), 66 years old, mentioned that he learned Arabic in this course from scratch and now he can speak and understand it well because he acquired conversational skills and greatly enriched his vocabulary in the Arabic language. The students thanked the center and the teaching staff for the support they provided throughout their stay at Al al-Bayt University.
In turn, the Director of the Center expressed her appreciation and support for the students in all Arabic programs for non-native speakers, and emphasized the necessity of cooperation with them throughout their stay and presence within the university campus and within the city of Mafraq as guests in their second home, Jordan.
The Director of the Center extended thanks and appreciation to the university administration, which renewed the academic cooperation agreement with the "I Am Arab" institution as a marketer for the university's academic programs. She also praised the efforts made by the Language Center, the Public Relations Department, the Financial Department, and the Center for Consultations, Training and Capacity Building, represented by its director, Dr. Haifaa Al-Dalabih, to facilitate matters for the students to enjoy a comfortable academic environment.
God willing, the Language Center will continue to receive new batches of students from the "I Am Arab" program, and attract a large number of culturally and age-diverse students from the friendly country of Malaysia.
