The university is holding a lecture on the story of the Battle of Karameh.

The university commemorates the anniversary of the Battle of Karameh with a distinguished national lecture, initiated by Professor Dr. Qasim Al-Bari, under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Osama Nusier, and in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Al-Aleimat, and the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Professor Dr. Youssef Al-Muqaddad. The university organized a distinguished national lecture titled “The Story of the Battle of Karameh,” through the initiative and direct organization of Professor Dr. Qasim Al-Bari, Assistant to the University President for Development and Community Service.

This qualitative event formed part of Dr. Al-Bari’s efforts to enhance national awareness and instill values of belonging among students. He oversaw the preparation, printing, and distribution of the “Story of Karameh” series to attendees, reflecting his commitment to documenting this great historical event in a distinctive scientific and educational manner. In his address, the University President emphasized the importance of recalling the Battle of Karameh as a bright milestone in the country’s history, praising the purposeful initiatives led by Dr. Al-Bari, which help connect students to their national history and strengthen their identity.

As part of this initiative, the University President distributed the “Story of Karameh” series to the students participating in the lecture, in a scene that reflects institutional interest in spreading national awareness among students and reinforcing the values of pride in Jordan’s history. Professor Dr. Qasim Al-Bari also took the initiative to donate, for the benefit of the university’s students, 1,150 copies of the “Story of Karameh” series, reaffirming his commitment to supporting students and strengthening their national culture.

The lecture, presented by retired Colonel Dr. Qasim Al-Drouh, included an in-depth presentation of the events of the battle and their military and media dimensions, alongside highlighting the heroism of the Arab Army and the impact of victory in raising Arab morale. The event concluded with an interactive dialogue with the students, reflecting the success of this distinguished activity, which was the result of Professor Dr. Qasim Al-Bari’s vision and efforts in delivering a meaningful national content worthy of Jordan’s proud history and immortalizing the battles of Karameh in the hearts of generations.​
