Training course on the role of artificial intelligence in scientific research and teaching.

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Al al-Bayt University Holds a Training Course on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research and Teaching


On behalf of the President of Al al-Bayt University, Professor Osama Nusie​r, the Vice President for Community Service Affairs, Professor Hani Akho Arshida, sponsored the activities of the training course held at the university entitled "The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research and Teaching," which was organized by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, in cooperation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and the Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II Faculty of Information Technology, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Professor Saeed Abu Khader, and the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Professor Muhammad Jaradat.


The course aimed to highlight the growing impact of artificial intelligence in the development of scientific research and university education, and a group of specialized professors participated in it. Professor Omar Al-Shatnawi from the Department of Computer Science presented an intervention on the role of artificial intelligence in academic research. The Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Professor Mufleh Dhiyabat, discussed the ethics of employing artificial intelligence in scientific research, and the Director of the E-Learning Center, Dr. Amjad Qutaish, presented a paper on the contribution of artificial intelligence to improving the quality of scientific research, while the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jawarneh, discussed the topic of using artificial intelligence applications in teaching. The session was moderated by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Professor Montaha Taha Al-Harahsheh, while the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Dr. Ayed Taran, presented the course.
