A lecture titled "Execution on the Debtor's Funds" at the Faculty of Law at Al al-Bayt University
The Faculty of Law at Al al-Bayt University, under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Samer Dalal'ah, organized a lecture entitled "Execution on the Debtor's Money," presented by the Head of the Private Law Department, Dr. Abdullah Al-Soufani, and moderated by Dr. Raja Al-Shara'a.
Dr. Al-Soufani explained the conditions and cases of execution on the debtor's movable and immovable property by demanding his imprisonment and/or preventing him from traveling through the Execution Department in the Courts of First Instance, where it is handled by a judge or a group of judges and the execution officer, provided that it is subject to the judgments issued by the civil, Sharia, and religious courts, the judgments of the criminal courts related to personal rights, and the administrative judgments related to personal obligations.
Al-Soufani explained the execution procedures, which begin with opening an execution case, paying the due fee, directing an executive notice to the defendant, and paying the amount required of him or paying the legal quarter of the value of the principal debt or objecting to the debt, adding that there are exceptions that may not be seized, such as furniture, provisions, special tools, etc.
At the end of the lecture, which was attended by faculty members and students, a dialogue took place on the subject of the lecture.
