The Department of Applied Geography organized a training workshop entitled (Map Production) for students of the Geography Department at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025. It was presented by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Ayed Taran, during which he discussed the role of geographic information systems in the production of digital maps and the accuracy and high quality of the Arc GIS program in map production. Through practical application of the program, he explained the mechanism of producing maps with all their required elements. The training workshop was attended by Dr. Hamza Bani Khaled, Dr. Atef Al-Ghmeed, Dr. Bashar Khawaldeh, Engineer Aida Al-Khulaif, and a number of students from the Department of Applied Geography.​​
