Al al-Bayt University participates in the closing ceremony of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025 events
Al al-Bayt University, represented by the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, participated in the closing ceremony of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, which was held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, with a wide participation of academic and entrepreneurial institutions in the Kingdom.
During the ceremony, Princess Sumaya honored the parties involved in the success of this week's activities, in recognition of their efforts to support the environment of entrepreneurship and innovation and empower Jordanian youth.
The honoring of the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Al al-Bayt University came in recognition of its active participation in the Jordanian Universities Competition for the year 2025, where the center presented activities and events that enhance the culture of entrepreneurship among students and encourage them to develop their innovative ideas.
The participation of the Center of Excellence in this global event comes in line with the university's commitment to its national role in supporting the innovation system, and its keenness to equip its students with the entrepreneurial skills necessary to meet the requirements of the labor market.
The aims of holding the Global Entrepreneurship Week are:
Inspiring and motivating entrepreneurs through training workshops, discussion sessions and entrepreneurial competitions.
Connecting students and innovators with entrepreneurs, experts and supporting institutions.
This week represents an opportunity to enhance the role of universities in supporting entrepreneurship, and to emphasize the importance of innovation as a pillar of sustainable development and economic growth.
Mr. Tariq Al-Amoush, Head of the Business Incubators Division and supervisor of student training in the competition stages, represented the center in this participation.
