A scientific seminar entitled "The Legal Characterization of Arbitration and its Implications" at the Faculty of Law at Al al-Bayt University

The Faculty of Law at Al al-Bayt University, under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Samer Dalalah, organized a scientific seminar entitled "The Legal Characterization of Arbitration and its Consequences," presented by Professor Nael Masaadeh, and moderated by Dr. Muhammad Bani Khaled.

The seminar opened with an introduction to the concept of arbitration as an alternative means of settling civil disputes, highlighting its importance in achieving justice and speeding up legal procedures. Dr. Masaadeh addressed the issue of pleading the arbitration clause before the court and the relationship of the judiciary to arbitration, explaining how parties can resort to arbitration as a more flexible and effective option.

A distinction was also made between national and foreign arbitration, with Dr. Masaadeh explaining the legal consequences of this distinction. The participants in the seminar discussed a range of practical and theoretical issues related to arbitration, which contributed to enriching the discussion and exchanging ideas.

This seminar comes within the framework of the Faculty of Law's commitment to promoting legal knowledge and keeping pace with developments in the field of arbitration, in order to prepare distinguished legal cadres capable of serving the community.
