Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah Faculty of Information Technology Organizes a Cybersecurity Competition (Capture The Flag - CTF)
In line with the vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, may God protect him, and based on his keen interest in supporting the information technology sector, especially the field of cybersecurity and encouraging young people to engage in it, and with continuous guidance from the President of Al al-Bayt University, Professor Osama Nseir, the Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah Faculty of Information Technology organized a face-to-face competition for the college's students in cybersecurity, and students interested in this field, under the title Capture The Flag (CTF), in the college's laboratories in the Imam Muslim building at the university.
The Dean of the College, Professor Muhammad Jaradat, explained that this competition, which was supervised by a number of faculty members in the college, came with the aim of enhancing awareness of cybersecurity and raising the level of practical knowledge among students, and creating a competitive environment that stimulates Jordanian universities, in addition to including the university within the scope of future competitions in a way that enhances the college's academic standing, and deepens the spirit of competitiveness and positivity among its students, as well as developing the organizers' experiences in preparing for such competitions in the future.
