The Vice President of the University for Administrative Affairs and Institutional Development, Professor Dr. Muhannad Nazzal, inaugurated the activities of the qualification program for academic leaders in the position of heads of departments, which is organized by the Center for Quality and Development. Nazzal expressed the importance of such programs in raising the academic reputation of the university and implementing quality standards.

The organization of such qualification programs by the Center for Quality and Development confirms the vision and goals of the center, which always seeks to keep pace with developments, in addition to providing continuous support to faculty members in various fields, including:

• University laws, regulations, and instructions related to the duties of the head of the department.

• Graduate studies: instructions for granting academic degrees, admission and enrollment policies.

• Admission and registration: building the study schedule, equivalence of courses, alternative courses.

• E-learning and dealing with the educational platform.

• Electronic portal: powers of heads of departments, security and confidentiality of data and information.

• Quality and accreditation: quality assurance standards, the concept of the national qualifications framework.
