A visit to the Winter Valley Seniors Center for business school students

On the occasion of Mother's Day, students from the College of Business, from the Communication and Public Relations course and the Tourism and Hotel Management course, under the supervision of Dr. Nancy Al-Shamayleh, organized a visit to the Wadi Al-Shita Elderly Center. This visit aimed to promote the concepts of social responsibility and encourage students to engage in volunteer work, as part of the system of work ethics within the courses' plan.

During the visit, Dr. Nancy Al-Shamayleh emphasized that all divine religions, in addition to our cultural and civilizational heritage, call for honoring, respecting, and appreciating mothers at all times. She also explained that the mother represents a symbol of love, sacrifice, and giving; she builds society, raises generations, and gives without return. She indicated that the aim of the visit is to provide psychological and social support to the elderly, try to make them happy, and learn about the reality of the services provided to them.

The activity included various segments presented by the students to bring joy to the hearts of the mothers, who in turn expressed their gratitude for this generous visit, which left a deep impact on their souls.
