The Department of History at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities organized a scientific seminar during which the book "Tragedy of a Minority: The Morisco People" was presented, authored by Dr. Khader Eid Al-Sarhan and Dr. Abdul Latif Musharraf, and introduced by student Nancy Nader. The session was moderated by Dr. Khader Al-Sarhan, Head of the History Department. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Professor Dr. Said Abu Khaidir, as well as the Vice Deans and faculty members of the History Department. The seminar witnessed notable attendance from students and extensive interaction in discussing the topic. At the end of the session, Dr. Khader Al-Sarhan, Head of the History Department, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the President of Al al-Bayt University, Professor Dr. Osama Nusair, for supporting this idea, and he also thanked the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Vice Deans for their endorsement and follow-up on this seminar. He further expressed his thanks to the faculty of the History Department, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Maysoun Al-Zghoul, for their attendance and engagement in community service matters, and to all the attending students.​
