The open football championship for first-year students, organized by the Sports Activities Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs, concluded under the patronage of the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hael Al-Sarhan. This event was part of welcoming new students and encouraging them to engage in sports activities and discover new talents to support the university team. 

The tournament witnessed the participation of 16 teams divided into two groups, with matches held during students' free time over the course of eleven days. In the final match, the Fiqh team was crowned champion after defeating the Business team with a score of one to zero, winning the trophy and gold medals, while the Business team secured second place and was awarded silver medals. 

The awards ceremony was attended by the Director of Sports Activities, Mr. Nasser Al-Khawalda, and the head of the Training and Sports Organization Department, Ms. Jumana Qutaishat. The captain Ashraf Shdeifat supervised the organization of the tournament, and captain Jihad Al-Houmadah assisted with refereeing. The atmosphere of the tournament was filled with enthusiasm and competition, and we always look forward to supporting sports activities and talented students at the university.​
