Students enrolled in the intensive introductory Spanish course participated in a sports event with Dr. Tarek Arar at the university's sports club. The course instructor explained the Spanish terms and expressions related to sports, training the students to use and record them. The students also became familiar with the facilities of the sports activities department and the various sports available at the university. 

The students engaged in some exercises in the gym, such as bodybuilding, taekwondo, and badminton, under the direct supervision of the course instructor and the staff of the sports activities department. Additionally, the sports activities department took the new students on a tour of the gym facilities to help them get acquainted and to identify those interested in each sport offered by the university.​
