The Sports Activities Department / Deanship of Student Affairs held an open weightlifting and bodybuilding championship for university students that lasted for three days from 12/18-17-16/2024, with the participation of 30 students. Dr. Ha'il Al-Sarhan, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, awarded the winners with medals and certificates of participation. The results were as follows:

In the 60-70 kg category:

1st place: Omar Mohammed Al-Ahdab

2nd place: Yazan Ahmad Wardat

In the 70-80 kg category:

1st place: Ahmad Nahar Zawati

2nd place: Abdullah Ahmad Al-Qouqa

In the 80-90 kg category:

1st place: Ammar Mohammed Quteish

2nd place: Al-Wathiq Billah Mohammed Huwaytat

In the over 90 kg category:

1st place: Amr Mohammed Al-Khawaldeh

2nd place: Suhaib Osama Al-Hassan

The overall championship winner was player Amr Mohammed Shahadah, who lifted a bench press of 140 kg and total lifted weight of 210 kg. The awarding ceremony was attended by Mr. Nasser Al-Khawaldeh, Director of the Sports Activities Department, and Jumana Quteishat, Head of the Training and Sports Organization Division. Captain Abdul Fattah Shadifat supervised the organization and judging of the championship.​
