A meeting and welcome for new students at the College of Wisdom for Political Science and International Studies at the university.


The College of Al-Hikma for Political Science and International Studies organized a meeting and welcome event for new students, aiming to inform them about the college's objectives, programs, future plans, and the majors it offers, as well as the regulations and guidelines at the university.

Initially, the dean of the college, Dr. Ahed Abu Dweib, congratulated the new students on behalf of the university president, Dr. Osama Nusair, for choosing to study at the university. He emphasized that the student is at the heart of the educational process and is required to work hard and be diligent. He highlighted that the university management pays attention to all its students to ensure they become pillars of support for the nation. He also pointed out that the college has received the necessary designation for its majors in preparation for obtaining regional and international accreditation, stating that holding such meetings serves the interest of students by keeping them up-to-date with their academic journey and the key developments and aspects of their presence at the university.

The university's vice president and college professor, Hani Akho Irshaideh, offered advice and guidance to the students, noting that the university is there to support them and that love unites them as a family on campus. He stressed that learning languages and mastering Arabic are essential for achieving lofty goals, showcasing examples of distinguished graduates.

The vice dean, Dr. Ameen Al-Azzam, encouraged students to hone their talents by engaging in extracurricular activities offered at the university through its various centers, deanships, and departments. He also emphasized the need to adhere to university regulations and instructions.

Professor Dr. Sayel Al-Sarhan discussed that behavior within the university and positivity are important factors that contribute to elevating its standards and reflect its performance. He presented the free services, courses, activities, grants, and loans provided through the King Abdullah II Fund for Development.

Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Arqan pointed to planning, organization, and life skills as essential for entering the job market, stressing their connection to learning, alongside the sports, cultural, and social activities the university offers.

At the end of the meeting, attended and managed by the assistant dean for student affairs, Dr. Sayel Al-Daghmi, the experiences of the students of the college were shared, followed by an extensive dialogue among them and the college staff, during which many of them praised the college's efforts.
