Al al-Bayt University signs a memorandum of understanding with Al-Hussein Technical University to collaborate on initiatives for the HTUX.OR platform.
To foster growth and positive change in the career paths of students and graduates, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Al al-Bayt University and Al-Hussein Technical University to collaborate on initiatives under the HTUX.ORG platform.
Al al-Bayt University, through its Center of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, signed the memorandum with Al-Hussein Technical University, one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation, to enhance joint cooperation on HTUX.ORG initiatives. This leading digital learning platform offers accelerated and innovative educational pathways over six months aimed at empowering and employing Arab youth. It was developed at the Digital Learning Center of Al-Hussein Technical University based on a unique learning philosophy and model intended to lead and bring about a radical transformation in the educational landscape, thus targeting over 100 million young men and women in our Arab homeland and providing them, in six months for each pathway, with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the demands of the fourth technological revolution. This is achieved through integrating digital learning models and offering and certifying specialized micro-learning and training modules in various fields of engineering and technology, all presented in the spoken Arabic dialect (the white dialect). The model combines these micro-learning and training modules to create accelerated educational pathways, delivered particularly within a community engagement model that promotes skill development, entrepreneurship, and creativity, and integrates activities of "entertainment for learning." It also enhances the value of the educational process offered to beneficiaries through the platform by leveraging Al-Hussein Technical University's partnerships with industry and the labor market, thereby reinforcing the main goal behind creating the platform.
The memorandum, signed by Professor Osama Nusair , the president of Al al-Bayt University, and Professor Ismail Al-Hunati, the president of Al-Hussein Technical University, stipulates active support and participation to benefit from the accelerated educational pathways of the platform and Al al-Bayt University's joining the participating institutions in the platform’s initiatives. This opens opportunities for its students and graduates to join the offered opportunities in engineering and information technology for students demonstrating a clear interest and commitment to achieving positive professional outcomes during the "Growth" opportunities on the HTUX.ORG platform, which are exclusively available to the first four thousand who complete the full educational pathways within six months, supported by the Abdullah Al-Ghurair Foundation and the Crown Prince Foundation.
Dr. Nusair expressed his excitement about the strategic partnership with Al-Hussein Technical University, which will enrich students' experiences and knowledge and equip them with the skills required by the Jordanian and global job markets, emphasizing the importance of deepening cooperation in research, innovation, technology transfer, and community service.
For his part, Dr. Al-Hunati highlighted the importance of collaboration between the two universities to provide training and practical programs that serve the interests of Jordanian youth and contribute to their growth and empowerment, enabling them to possess the capabilities to compete at local and global levels.
