The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al al-Bayt University, represented by the Department of Political Education and Educational and Social Guidance, and in coordination with the Media and Community Police Department in the Public Security Directorate and the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, organized an awareness lecture for university students on the rights of persons with disabilities, on the occasion of the Global Disability Summit 2026.

During the lecture, Dr. Khaled Al-Raqab from the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Captain Muhammad Al-Rousan from the Community Police, and Professor Dr. Jamal Abu Zaitoun from Al al-Bayt University spoke about a number of issues related to the rights of persons with disabilities, the importance of promoting community awareness of their rights, and consolidating the values ​​of respect, equality and equal opportunities, in a way that contributes to enhancing their active participation in society.

Mr. Alaa Khabbas Al-Jamaan, Head of the Disability Division in the Deanship of Student Affairs, supervised the organization of the event, as part of the university's efforts to spread awareness and promote a community culture that supports the rights of persons with disabilities.
