Al al-Bayt University participates in an international symposium at Mohammed I University in the Western Kingdom.

In the context of the scientific proceedings of the major international symposium hosted by Mohammed I University in Oujda, titled: "Morocco: Twelve Centuries of Historical Roots and Legal Recognition," held over three days (June 4-6, 2026), Dr. Khader Eid Al-Sarhan, Head of the History Department at Al al-Bayt University, participated via Zoom, providing a qualitative addition to the symposium's work, which witnessed an elite presence of academics and international researchers.

Dr. Al-Sarhan began his participation by extending a tribute of reverence and appreciation to the Kingdom of Morocco, its leadership and people, commending the deeply rooted and close fraternal relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Morocco. He also affirmed in his speech the spiritual and historical uniqueness that characterizes the two countries, as ancient kingdoms whose ruling families trace their lineage to the noble House of the Prophet, which lends these relations a unique character of cohesion and mutual respect.

Within the historical theme of the symposium, Dr. Khader Al-Sarhan presented a scientific intervention titled: "Moroccan Diplomacy during the Middle Ages (Almohads and Marinids as a model)." The intervention received wide academic acclaim from the attendees and participants, in appreciation of its methodological rigor and profound analysis that highlighted the historical depth of Moroccan diplomacy and its pivotal role in strengthening state sovereignty throughout the ages.

Dr. Al-Sarhan expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the presidency of Mohammed I University, the organizing committee, and the teaching and administrative staff for the excellent organization and preparation of this distinguished international symposium, apologizing for his inability to participate in person, due to the symposium coinciding with the academic examination period at Al al-Bayt University.

Dr. Al-Sarhan also conveyed the greetings of the President of Al al-Bayt University, Professor Dr. Osama Nusier, and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Professor Dr. Saeed Abu Khader, and all members of the university to their counterparts at Oujda University, affirming Al al-Bayt University's welcome to any future scientific partnerships or research cooperation with Mohammed I University, contributing to the enrichment of knowledge exchange and strengthening the bonds of joint academic work between the two sister kingdoms.
