Participants in the Third International Conference of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, entitled "Education and Artificial Intelligence: A Partnership to Build the Future of Education," continued their work for the second day, after it was opened yesterday under the generous patronage of the President of the University, Professor Osama Nuseir, with a distinguished Arab and international presence, along with the Dean of the College, Professor Youssef Muqdadi.


This conference, which lasted for two days and opened in the Hassan bin Talal Amphitheater at the university, comes within the framework of the university's mission and the college's vision to keep pace with the rapid developments in the field of digitization, educational technology and the future.


The conference concluded its work, and the sessions of the conference on the second day were distinguished by the participation of a group of researchers and academics from various countries, where they discussed the latest educational issues and contemporary trends in education, in addition to research papers that focused on the uses of artificial intelligence, and promoting innovation in its uses in educational teaching methods, in addition to the role of technology in the educational process and improving learning for the future.


The program included specialized scientific sessions and dialogue sessions aimed at exchanging experiences and academic cooperation between experts and academics participating from Arab and international educational institutions, which reflects the college's position as a leading scientific platform in the field of educational sciences.


The first session of the second day was chaired and presented by Professor Mahmoud Muqdadi, in which Dr. Rahaf Bani Khaled spoke about the predictive ability of attachment to artificial intelligence with digital well-being among a sample of Jordanian youth. Dr. Maysaa Tlilan also explained the role of artificial intelligence applications in developing psychological support for people with intellectual disabilities in Jordan. Dr. Mahdi Alimat and Dr. Saleh Al-Khawalda presented the experimental evaluation of the Siraj educational platform from the perspective of science teachers in the Mafraq Education Directorate. Dr. Manar Al-Sarhan also pointed out in her scientific paper the teaching of chemistry and the research was directed to artificial intelligence applications.


In the second session, which was chaired by Professor Ahmed Al-Duwairi, the researcher Salam Qutaifan spoke about the impact of artificial intelligence applications based on teaching the English language in developing life skills among students. The researcher Fayza Esmat Shdefat also explained the role of school principals in education in Mafraq in addressing the obstacles of digital leadership from the teachers' point of view. In the third paper, the researcher Bilal Hazaymeh explained in his scientific paper about the use of the digital story in improving reading comprehension skills among fourth grade students.


In the third session, which was chaired by Professor Maher Al-Hawamleh, the researcher Nisreen Sabihat spoke about the availability of the requirements of digital learning governance and its relationship to teachers' perceptions in Mafraq using artificial intelligence, while Majdolin Al-Amoush presented a paper on the obstacles of artificial intelligence applications and ways to improve them from the point of view of school principals in Zarqa, and Lujain Lamri explained the impact of teaching chemistry using the approach of linking science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as the researcher Nadia Al-Dhiyab pointed out about the laws of applying Chat GPT and its safe use.


In the fourth session, which was chaired by Professor Jamal Abu Zaitoun, in which the researcher Dr. Mirvat Al-Khawalda spoke about the trends of counselors from Al al-Bayt University students towards electronic counseling, while the second paper was by Dr. Wafaa Nemer Muhanna on the integration of artificial intelligence in educational technology, theoretical foundations and educational practices.


The fifth and final session was chaired by Professor Abdul Hafez Al-Shaib, in which Lina Ali Akleik and researcher Muhammad Rashid Abu Hussein presented scientific papers on employing digital strategies and developing mathematical thinking among students, while the last speaker at the conference was Dr. researcher Adnan Matrouk Shdefat, through a scientific paper entitled: Problems of digital transformation, the digital gap, and digital citizenship in the media and information education course: Al al-Bayt University as a model.


The closing session and the adoption of the recommendations were chaired by Professor Asma Al-Ibrahimi, in which the participants raised a cable of thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King, may God protect him. Al-Ibrahimi pointed to enhancing the use of artificial intelligence applications in education in a way that contributes to the development of the teaching and learning processes, preparing specialized training programs in universities in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital learning, supporting the production of interactive digital content, and promoting the use of assistive technology and benefiting from artificial intelligence applications in developing critical thinking and creativity skills.
