The Surveying Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering, in cooperation with Al-Balqa Company for Surveying Art, which specializes in surveying works and GPS technologies, organized a training day entitled: "GPS Applications in Surveying Works," under the supervision and coordination of Eng. Alia Al-Mashaqa, and with the participation of a number of students from the department, with the aim of enhancing practical skills and linking the academic aspect with modern field practices.

The training day included practical applications of GPS devices in surveying, coordinate determination, layout, and field surveying, in addition to conducting a field survey of the Faculty of Engineering using GPS technologies, and preparing an accurate coordinate board to be adopted later in training students and their projects.

At the end of the event, students were presented with participation certificates from SOKKIA Company through its agent, Al-Balqa Company for Surveying Art. The company was also honored in appreciation of its role in supporting practical training, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Dr. Muayyad Al-Shawagfeh, the Head of the Surveying Engineering Department, Dr. Zubaida Al-Adwan, and a number of faculty members.

The college affirms its pride in these professional partnerships, appreciating the efforts of Eng. Alia Al-Mashaqa in organizing this unique initiative.
