A Significant Research Achievement for the Faculty of Sharia at Al al-Bayt University

The Faculty of Sharia at Al al-Bayt University has achieved a significant research accomplishment with the publication of a well-researched scientific study by Dr. Ghaith Hani Al-Qudah (a graduate of the doctoral program in Fiqh and its Principles). The study, derived from his doctoral dissertation, was published in one of the most prestigious international journals classified within the Scopus database (Q2).

The research was published in the International Journal on Minority and Group Rights, affiliated with the renowned international publishing house Brill, under the title: "The Rights of Christians in Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya’s Book: Rulings for Non-Muslims (Ahkam Ahl al-Dhimma) and Their Alignment with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Objectives of Islamic Law."

This high-quality dissertation, written in English, was supervised by Dr. Orwa Nasser Al-Duwairi, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sharia. This achievement serves as an incentive for graduate students in master's and doctoral programs to publish peer-reviewed scientific research in prestigious international scientific journals, contributing to the enhancement of the university's academic, scientific, and research reputation.

Dr. Ghaith Hani Al-Qudah is also an important media figure and the presenter of the "Life of Fiqh" program on the Jordanian Al-Mamlaka channel.​​
