Team M Square from the Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah Faculty of Information Technology at Al al-Bayt University achieved a distinguished accomplishment by winning second place in the Hack Ramadan 2026 hackathon, which is the first national hackathon held entirely digitally.
The hackathon witnessed wide participation, with approximately 110 students representing 11 public and private universities competing. The participants underwent an intensive digital challenge that lasted 48 continuous hours of work and innovation.
After a strong competition among 50 participating teams, the top 10 projects qualified for the final stage, where the results were announced, reflecting the level of creativity and excellence among Jordanian students in the fields of technology and innovation.
Team M Square from Al al-Bayt University, consisting of students Marah Al-Qanbar and Muhammad Al-Majali, won second place in this hackathon for their outstanding Analytica project.
The Analytica project is an integrated platform supported by artificial intelligence technologies for analyzing and presenting data. The platform relies on several technical layers, including data cleaning algorithms and artificial intelligence techniques that work to select the best algorithm for analyzing data according to the nature of the information uploaded. The platform also performs data pre-processing and prepares graphs and visualizations automatically.
The platform allows the user to upload a file in CSV format, after which the platform performs all analysis and processing operations and displays the results in an easy and clear manner.
