​Al al-Bayt University, represented by Dr. Sanaa Al-Ziyoud, is among the top projects selected by the Scientific Research Support Fund at the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation.
Al al-Bayt University participated in the signing ceremony for research project support agreements organized by the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation as part of the 2025 cycle of the Scientific Research Support Fund, through the university researcher Dr. Sanaa Al-Ziyoud.
Dr. Al-Ziyoud signed a support agreement for her research project titled:
“Exploring Geothermal Energy in Wadi Al-Hidan and Assessing the Potential for Sustainable Energy Use in Jordan,” a project that reflects the university’s research orientation toward supporting innovation and developing sustainable solutions in the fields of energy and the environment.
This support comes within the framework of enhancing Al al-Bayt University’s role in the national scientific research ecosystem and encouraging researchers to submit high-quality projects that serve and meet the needs of society.
The ceremony witnessed the signing of agreements with 14 researchers out of 173 applicants from other Jordanian universities and centers, where the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation affirmed its commitment to supporting scientific research as an engine of progress and development, stressing the importance of project diversity and representation of various scientific fields.
Al al-Bayt University values this research achievement, confirms its continued support for its researchers, and is keen to enhance their participation in funding programs that contribute to advancing the scientific research journey in the Kingdom.
