Al al-Bayt University achieved a remarkable sporting achievement in the Cross Country Championship for male and female students, organized by the Jordanian University Sports Federation and hosted by Middle East University on Monday, December 15, 2025, with the participation of (22) participating governmental and private universities.

Student Osama Bani Attia won first place in the individual championship, achieving first place and the gold medal for students. Among the female students, Ikhlas Al-Shara’a achieved second place in the individual championship and the silver medal.

The university's female team also achieved third place and the bronze medal amidst participation from various Jordanian universities. The female team was represented by:

1- Ikhlas Al-Shara’a

2- Heba Abu Mansour

3- Ahed Jaber

4- Tala Khalaf

5- Zeinab Ali Yaman

Under the supervision of coach Ashraf Shdeifat.

Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Alimat, confirmed that this achievement came as a result of the continuous support provided by the university administration, represented by Professor Dr. Osama Nseir, President of the University, as well as the Deanship of Student Affairs for outstanding students in particular and for sports activities in general, and their keenness to provide the necessary capabilities and the stimulating environment that contributes to honing students’ skills and developing their sports capabilities.

Director of Sports Activity, Captain Nasser Al-Khawaldeh, added that this achievement would not have come without the continuous support from the University President and the diligent follow-up from the Dean of Student Affairs in providing all means for more achievement and excellence.​
