Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II Faculty of Information Technology participates in the activities of the Cybersecurity Advancement, Innovation, and Technology Conference and Exhibition (C8 2025)

The Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II College of Information Technology participated in the activities of the Cybersecurity Advancement, Innovation, and Technology Conference and Exhibition (C8 2025), which was held at the King Hussein bin Talal Convention Center in the Dead Sea area, with wide participation from experts, specialized companies, and academic institutions.

The conference aims to provide a leading regional platform to discuss the latest technologies and innovative solutions to confront growing cyber challenges, and to raise awareness of the importance of digital security in various sectors.

The main themes of the conference:

• Cybersecurity: Reviewing the latest strategies and solutions to protect vital infrastructure and digital systems.

• Artificial intelligence: Examining the role of artificial intelligence in developing cyber defenses and dealing with advanced attacks.

• Digital transformation: Discussing the security challenges accompanying digital transformation operations in the public and private sectors.

Activities in which cybersecurity students at the college participated and viewed:

• Live Hacking Competition: College students participated in this advanced competition based on realistic scenarios, and achieved eighth place among the participating universities.

• Armython Competition specializing in cybersecurity for military and security agencies.

• Live Demos: Included a presentation of live hacking cases and a Live Hacking Zone, in addition to presentations by emerging companies in the field of cybersecurity.

• Dialogue and interactive sessions with experts and industry leaders addressed the future of digital security and the latest innovations in this field.

Participation in the C8 2025 conference provided the college’s students with a valuable opportunity to learn about practical developments in the field of cybersecurity, enhance their skills, and expand their network of relationships with specialists, which contributes to preparing them for the accelerating technical labor market.
