The University organizes a dialogue session entitled "National Identity Between Behavior and Duty."
The Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, represented by the Department of Political Education and the Dialogue and Debate Club, organized a dialogue session entitled "National Identity Between Behavior and Duty," presented by Professor Dr. Hani Akho Arshida, Vice President of the University for International and Community Relations, in the Al-Bukheit Amphitheater.
The session highlighted the relationship between national identity and the individual's behavior and duties towards the nation in light of contemporary challenges. Dr. Akho Arshida affirmed that national identity is based on shared values and principles, and is based on the elements of land, people, customs, traditions, and language, pointing to the role of the Arab Army in melting the components of Jordanian society in one crucible, which enhanced integration and national identity. He also stressed the importance of intellectual vigilance in facing challenges, stressing that the university represents a national symbol that must be preserved.
For his part, Dr. Hail Al-Sarhan, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, indicated that national identity forms the basis of the future vision, and that defending the interest of the nation begins with responsible behavior within the university. Meanwhile, Abdel Halim Abu Dalbouh, Director of the Department of Political Education, explained that true belonging is evident in the student's commitment and keenness on his university and specialization.
Student Qusai Alimat, President of the Dialogue and Thought Club, affirmed the students' commitment to defending national identity and promoting a culture of dialogue within the campus.
The session concluded with an open discussion, which included answering students' inquiries and reviewing practical examples that reflect national belonging and loyalty.
