Chants rose from the throats and voices resounded in a scene reflecting feelings of love and loyalty to the homeland and its leadership, characterized by the raising of Jordanian flags and pictures of the leader, His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God protect him. Al al-Bayt University embodied and expressed, during the demonstration of support and loyalty, complete support and solidarity with His Majesty’s honorable, steadfast, and firm positions in rejecting the displacement of the people of Gaza and the West Bank. This took place during the gathering organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs inside the university campus in the Business College courtyard.
The university president, Professor Osama nusair, who presided over the solidarity gathering in the presence of vice presidents and members of both the academic and administrative staff and students, stated: "This gathering is nothing but an expression of our rich Jordanian legacy and our Arab and Islamic values. The positions of His Majesty King Abdullah II are engraved in the conscience of all Jordanians, and there are many indications of this. This gathering also expresses the loyalty and belonging we hold as a university family to His Majesty King Abdullah II, for his national and humanitarian positions, which are manifested in the true role of his historical and diplomatic stances. This demonstration comes as an expression of our support for His Majesty and pride in this national academic institution and its role in enhancing and deepening national awareness and instilling Jordanian values among its students."
nusair also emphasized the university's unwavering support for steadfast national positions, its continuous rallying around the wise Hashemite leadership and national constants, and its role in reinforcing Jordanian national unity, which is adeptly led by His Majesty. He indicated that Al al-Bayt University, which carries the most honored names and esteemed lineage, reaffirms its commitment that it will never stray from the positions of His Majesty King Abdullah II, standing united behind his steadfast and firm stances.
For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Sif Al-Shubeil, confirmed that Jordan's position is steadfast and firmly established under the leadership of His Majesty the King, and has always been a voice for truth in the face of injustice and a sword for justice in defense of Palestine and its sacred places, emphasizing the King's three no's: no to alternative homeland, no to displacement, and no to compromising Palestinian rights.
The attendees at the event also expressed their deep pride in His Majesty's honorable Arab positions in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people and rejecting all forms of attempts at displacement and resettlement, by raising Jordanian flags and chanting national slogans. Poet Osama Al-Sarhan also recited national poetry.
