The General Directorate of Public Security in Mafraq Governorate is holding an introductory day for the mobile community police station.
In order to maintain continuous communication with all segments of the local community, the Public Security Directorate in Mafraq Governorate, in collaboration with the Department of Cultural, Social, and Artistic Activities, held an open day at Al al-Bayt University to introduce the mobile community police station and to educate students about its mechanisms and objectives. This event took place in several locations within the university with the presence of the Director of Mafraq Police, Brigadier Awad Al-Lababda, the Head of the Traffic Department, Captain Muhammad Wrayqat, the Head of the Community Police Branch, Captain Muhammad Al-Rawsan, the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Saif Shbeil, the Deputy Dean, Dr. Hael Al-Sarhan, and the Director of Public Relations and Media, Naser Al-Shbael.
Throughout the day, students listened to detailed explanations from the community police personnel and the traffic management about the role of the Public Security Directorate in maintaining community safety, in addition to receiving traffic guidance and awareness about the winter campaign. A representative from the Civil Defense Directorate also provided a detailed explanation of how the directorate handles various incidents and the procedures for providing first aid.
Mohammad Basbous, the Director of the Department of Cultural, Social, and Artistic Activities in the Dean of Student Affairs Office, emphasized the importance of this event in raising awareness among university students about the efforts made by the mobile community police station, which acts as a bridge between the Public Security Directorate and the local community.
