Continuing a series of meetings for new students at the university, the College of Sharia organized a meeting for its new students to inform them about the college's objectives, programs, future plans, and the disciplines it offers. Additionally, it covered the regulations, standards, and laws governing the college, held in the Bakheet auditorium at the university.

The Dean of the College of Sharia, Professor Anas Abu Ata, congratulated the new students on behalf of the university president, Professor Osama Nusair, for choosing the university for their studies. He began by introducing the college to the students and getting to know them, emphasizing their convictions, abilities, practices, and interests. He pointed out the necessity of communication between students and the college community until graduation, addressing the students as scholars. He stressed that the university is keen on cooperating with them within its strategy, as learning shapes life, and participation in activities refines identity, personality, and mentality. The university is concerned with this development to ensure that their university journey and life are well-organized. He encouraged them to make their mark in their studies and to gain knowledge, jurisprudence, and skills in transactions.

The College's Deputy Dean, Professor Orwa Al-Dweiri, urged students to communicate with faculty members for academic benefit, pointing out the transition to university level, which requires the shaping of their academic persona while relying on the moderation and balance of the religion. He noted that the mission of the faculty members is to create future leaders and mentioned the college's international accreditation, as it will be the first college in the university to receive this recognition.

Mr. Mohammed Al-Shweikha discussed the various departments of the Deanship of Student Affairs and the services provided for foreign students and others at the university, including the various facilities set up to provide services to students. He also talked about the penalties and instructions issued by the university, stressing the need for adherence to them.

The Registrar of the College of Sharia, Fidaa Nofal, spoke about academic advising, the required documents, and the electronic procedures for admission and registration, as well as how to request and obtain documents.

The Assistant Dean of the College of Sharia, Dr. Abeer Tlailan, discussed university life and stated that the College of Sharia is dedicated to students through activities and the implementation of positive ideas to influence others and shape a contemporary Islamic discourse that addresses minds.
