An introductory seminar at Al-Bayt about the American “Rawabit” and “Fulbright” programs

 The Department of International Relations and Affairs organized on Wednesday morning, 7/24/2024, in cooperation with the American Embassy and the Binational Fulbright Commission at Al-Bayt, an introductory seminar for faculty members about the “Project.” Rawabet”, which is run by the US Fulbright Foundation, and to introduce the importance of cultural exchange programs in strengthening bilateral relations between the United States of America and Jordan. This program aims to provide students, researchers, and faculty members at Jordanian universities with the opportunity to experience academic exchange in the United States of America, and it is funded by the US Department of State. The coordinator of the “Rawabet” program for academic exchange from the University of Wisconsin, USA, Dr. Mark Johnson, presented an introductory seminar about the Rawabet program for faculty members who are graduates of American universities, which aims to enhance academic communication between faculty members in Jordanian universities and American universities by providing the necessary support for travel. Faculty members to start joint research projects. Dr. Johnson added that the Rawabet program enables faculty members to travel to and from the United States of America to cooperate in the field of scientific research and international projects. The project also helps Jordanian and American universities enhance joint academic cooperation.
