Welcome to the Department of Information Systems at Al al-Bayt University

The Department of Information Systems was established in the College of Information Technology in 2004.

The department offers two undergraduate programs and one master's program, with approximately 685 students enrolled across both levels.

The department offers two bachelor's programs: the first is in Computer Information Systems (CIS), which aims to graduate professionals and technicians with high-level skills in information technology and systems. The second program is in Management Information Systems (MIS), which aims to graduate professionals capable of holding administrative positions in various IT fields. Additionally, it prepares students to take on leadership roles in IT-related areas, such as managing IT departments and other leadership positions to facilitate the implementation and use of IT in different institutions and businesses.

The master's program in Information and Communication Technology in Education (ICTE) is specifically designed for administrative and academic staff working in the education sector. The program aims to qualify and train educators and specialists in the field of education in the use of tools and software necessary for designing and developing purposeful e-learning content. This content can complement and enhance traditional learning, while also providing educators with new skills in various IT fields to be applied in the educational process.
