Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions holds a workshop at Al al-Bayt University

Upon an invitation of the Quality and Development Center and in cooperation with Princess Salma Faculty of Nursing, in attendance of Prof. Bassam Al-Mahasneh, Vice President for Quality and Planning Affairs, the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions held a workshop via video communication (online). The aim of this workshop was to clarify how to move to the second stage of the National Qualifications Framework Program, which is the stage of placing qualifications and academic programs. The workshop consisted of two parts: The first was presented by Prof. Zaid Al-Anbar, Vice President of the Commission, addressing: “How to place qualifications in the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework". The second part was handled by Prof. Saad Bani Mohammad, the President Assistant of the Commission for Accreditation Affairs, and was entitled: "Jordanian Accreditation of Academic Programs".

At the end of the workshop, which was attended by more than 100 faculty members, the lecturers answered all the participants' inquiries

It should be noted that the National Qualifications Framework includes a hierarchical classification of all levels of qualifications and certificates associated with higher education programs, general education, and vocational and technical training within precise specifications for each level to determine the knowledge, skills and competencies that should be associated with the qualification.

The framework aims to organize the process of providing education and training services in all educational sectors, raise the level of holders of vocational and technical education to bridge the gap between them, recognize previous learning, support the principle of lifelong learning, and facilitate matching Jordanian qualifications with qualifications in other countries.
