Al-Bayt University Launches Mafraq Empowerment Programs in Partnership with the National Aid Fund
In line with the directives of the university presidency to serve and empower the local community and build effective national partnerships, the Consulting, Training, and Capacity Building Center at Al al-Bayt University, in cooperation with the National Aid Fund, launched the training programs for the "Mafraq Empowerment" initiative aimed at beneficiaries of the Fund in Mafraq Governorate. The goal is to provide them with technical and professional skills that align with labor market demands and enhance their economic independence.
The first phase included the direct implementation of 5 specialized programs:
Elderly Care: To qualify cadres in health and social care.
Professional Project Management: For planning and establishing small projects.
Digital Marketing: For managing e-commerce and digital campaigns.
Smart Agriculture: For training on modern and innovative agricultural techniques.
Surveyor Assistant: For technical qualification on engineering and field devices.
Dr. Haifa Al-Dalabih, the center's director, emphasized the utilization of all capabilities to implement the programs with high standards that transform skills into job opportunities. Meanwhile, Dr. Haniya Abu Al-Hayal, the director of the National Aid Fund in Mafraq, indicated that this partnership embodies the transition from social protection to economic empowerment, achieving the initiative's slogan: "Transforming ability into skill, skill into opportunity, and opportunity into production."
