Al al-Bayt University receives a delegation from Malaysian Higher Education to discuss prospects of academic cooperation

The Vice President of Al al-Bayt University for Academic and Engineering Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Alaween, received an authorized delegation representing the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. The purpose of the visit was to discuss ways to enhance academic and scientific cooperation between Al al-Bayt University and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). The delegation included the Director of the Arabic Language Studies Institute, Dr. Haj bin Sulaiman bin Ismail, along with Dr. Ziad Al-Azzam from the Cultural Attaché at the Malaysian Embassy, and was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Professor Dr. Anas Abu Atta, and the Director of the Language Center, Dr. Lamia Al-Amoush.


Dr. Al-Alaween welcomed the delegation, emphasizing Al al-Bayt University's keenness to expand areas of cooperation with Malaysian higher education institutions, particularly in attracting USIM students and providing them with a suitable academic environment. He expressed the university's pride in its Malaysian alumni who have contributed to strengthening academic and cultural relations between the two countries, commending the efforts of the Malaysian Cultural Attaché in supporting joint scientific cooperation.


During the meeting, a letter of intent was signed between Al al-Bayt University and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, reflecting the desire of both parties to establish an effective academic partnership in the fields of academic programs and student development, based on the deliberations that took place between the two sides.


The two parties agreed to move forward in activating this cooperation by working to implement joint academic and student programs and initiatives that achieve mutual benefit and contribute to developing scientific relations and exchanging experiences between the two universities.
