The Third International Conference of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University kicks off on Education and Artificial Intelligence: A Partnership to Build the Future of Education.

Under the patronage of the University President, Professor Osama Nseir, the conference activities commenced, with the Vice President for Academic and Scientific Affairs, Professor Ahmed Al-Alaونه, representing him. The conference is titled "Education and Artificial Intelligence: A Partnership to Build the Future of Education." The opening ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Youssef Migdadi, who is also the conference chair, along with participants from Arab countries and the Director of Education of Mafraq, and took place in the Hassan bin Talal Amphitheater at the university.

The University President's representative emphasized that this conference embodies the supreme royal vision led by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to transform Jordan into a regional center for innovation, digital transformation, and a knowledge-based economy.

He indicated that Al al-Bayt University, recognizing these rapid transformations, has been working to develop and create academic programs and specializations that keep pace with the digital revolution and meet the future needs of the labor market in the fields of computing, digital transformation, smart technologies, and artificial intelligence applications, in addition to integrating these technologies into the educational, research, and administrative environment of the university.

He pointed out that Al al-Bayt University believes that artificial intelligence is not just a technical tool but an opportunity to reshape the future of education, enhance its quality, and build a more flexible, creative, and inclusive educational environment.

The conference chair, Dr. Youssef Migdadi, stated in his speech the importance of the conference being distinguished by its vision of how to employ artificial intelligence technologies to build a more inclusive educational environment. He emphasized that artificial intelligence has become one of the essential pillars in educational systems due to its potential to improve the quality of education, raise the efficiency of its outputs, and provide innovative educational models, in addition to its role in supporting educational decisions.

He pointed out that these technologies open new horizons for making the learning process more profound and equitable and contribute to the wise development of human potential, ensuring that human values, creativity, and critical thinking remain at the forefront of the educational process.

Migdadi also explained the importance of developing and updating academic programs in a way that combines education and artificial intelligence, enabling the university to continue its academic and research role and adopt modern educational policies and advanced educational environments that contribute to qualifying cadres with the necessary scientific and technical competencies.

He noted the Hashemite leadership's interest in quality education and innovation to prepare a generation capable of facing the challenges of the times, stressing the college's belief that education is the foundation for building societies and that this conference comes within the framework of a partnership that contributes to building the future of education.

The conference participants' speech was delivered by Professor Yacoub Al-Naabi, who valued the participation in this conference, which came to emphasize that modern education is no longer isolated from the technological revolution but has become a fundamental partner in shaping the future of humanity by developing curricula, enhancing psychological and educational guidance, and empowering students, especially those with disabilities and the gifted, through the conscious and responsible use of smart technology that takes into account ethical and human values.

The opening ceremony included a video presentation of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, and the representative of the conference sponsor honored the participants with certificates of appreciation.
