A scientific seminar entitled (Geomatics and Geographic Artificial Intelligence), in cooperation with Fayoum University in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Al al-Bayt University, through the Department of Applied Geography, held a scientific seminar entitled (Geomatics and Geographic Artificial Intelligence), in cooperation with Fayoum University in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The seminar - which was held remotely - was sponsored by the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Ayed Taran, representing the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Professor Saeed Abu Khader.

Professor Muhammad Al-Khuzami, Professor of Geographic Information Systems at Fayoum University, participated in the seminar, which aimed to shed light on the digital transformation in geographical sciences, the role of artificial intelligence in spatial data analysis, and its most important applications in geographical studies.

During the seminar, Dr. Al-Khuzami presented applied models in the field of geographic artificial intelligence, stressing the close relationship between geomatics and artificial intelligence tools.

The seminar was attended by a group of specialized professors and researchers, in addition to a large number of students.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the Vice Dean, Dr. Ayed Taran, praised Dr. Al-Khuzami and the valuable scientific lecture he presented, stressing the depth of Jordanian-Egyptian relations, and the keenness of Al al-Bayt University, represented by its President, Professor Osama Nusie​r, to enhance cooperation and cultural exchange at the regional and global levels.
